熱い家族

I have been thinking about R family why Yuma and I liked them so much.
I came to realize their communication pattern is very active and 熱い. They communicate to each other with frank and straight forward expressions what one wants to say; anxiety free communication. They do not seem to worry about if others may feel hurt or offended. This is just my brief observation during their family holiday, but they spend so much time together and actively show their concerns to each other emotionally, physically and verbally. This seemed to build upon the strong sense of trust to each other. だから祐馬と彼らの交流を見てると、遠慮とかよそよそしいところが全くなく、子どもどおしからかいあったりケンカしたり、親に甘えたり、すごくリラックスしているんだよね。だいちゃんも、本当の子どものように注意するべきところはしっかり注意するし、温かいところはしっかり抱きしめてくれる。

別の家族を体験すると、自分の家族のことが良くわかる。それは僕の高校時代のアメリカ家族との体験でもあった。This kind of communication is very different from the Japanese 遠慮 communication pattern of avoiding direct confrontation in most of the families which I clinically experience. They are afraid of direct confrontation of the different opinions, and cannot say what they really want to say to each other.
